For this party, we wanted the invitation to be fun but a bit more adult. It is for a child's birthday but most of the party goers will be adult and most of which have no clue who the Wonder Pets even are since they have do not have small children. So with the guidelines in hand, I came up with this cute little invite that I hope is sure to please. It is quite different than my other kids party invitations, but I like it none the less.

Wonder Pets! Wonder Pets!
I had no clue who these things were until just last week. I was asked to put together an invitation for a first birthday with a Wonder Pets theme. This show on Noggin is one I was not aware and barely has any party stuff out there. And, or course, the only birthday invitations are those crappy ones that have the general who, what, where, when, why stamp on them. So, I came up with a few ideas for the mom to choose from and have a few more I am working on.

I am in the process of getting other invitations uploaded so please be patient. After all, I still have a day job to contend with.

And away we go!
Over the years, I have always tried to keep in tune with my creative side. I am a person of science and analytics primary, but my artistic side screams to get out once in a while. With this comes my passion for making scrapbooking, quilting, and making invitations and programs.
I have always been this way. I do not want what others have and am not satisfied with just going to the store and buying what they have hanging there for years. I want things that people fawn over and love to read. Cute or sassy, but most importantly one of a kind. With that comes what I have to offer. With all the things I have done, I never charge anyone a dime. The personal satisfaction of the look of sheer joy at what I created has always been enough. Getting paid to do this would be fantastic, but I just don't know enough about the copyright issues with images etc that are involved. So, for your shear enjoyment I figured I could put my ideas out on display for others. If not only to get feedback so I can improve the ways I have been doing things, but to also trigger some creativity in your own mind. After all, don't we all just want something just for ourselves.
Here is just a quick and easy wedding program that became pretty useful as a fan since it got so hot outside that day.
